New Years!

The new year has begun and on new year's eve, millions around the world celebrate and have fun to welcome the new year. I slept the whole day at home after falling ill at work while in contact with a sick patient. Luckily, I recovered fast and was able to go to church for our new year's service, where a buffet lunch was served. It was alright, quite nice, but I didnt feel well to eat enough.
2006! In abt 10 months time, I will start to clear leave and off. Thats really something to look forward to as it marks the end of my life in army. And then, I will go back to Sydney.
A couple of things I will be really sad tho:
- I'm really really gonna miss someone alot. She's been really nice and supportive to me throughout my 2 years of army and I wont forget the times we've had together and all the fun as well, especially when playing music together. I hope we meet again 1 day and not loose contact at all.
- To be honest, even though army seems to be something I want to get out asap, I actually find the medical centre a great place to work at. Its just amazing to see how the doctors, medics, store pple and clerks work together. The bond we have established with each other has been great. Though eventually all of us will go our own way, the memories will not fade. Miss you all alot as well.

However, life has to go on. God has already planned it for us. So far, he's been really great to me in terms of friendship bonds I have formed in Singapore and really encourage you to find out more about him!

Today I went for despatch for the 1st time in my 7 months at Changi Airbase. I like it actually. Wasting time travelling and getting a chance to eat as well. We went for HQ's despatch to the East then to Selarang to return the TRS set, HQMC for lunch, ADSD to collect a docket and lastly to ARMC to get the X rays.

At Selarang, since it was my 1st time, i couldnt find G3 9 DIV, I went round from asking a CPT, then to a DXO, then to a 1WO, and finally I found G3 9 DIV. Then, went to HQMC ( HQ Medical Corps) to have lunch, met SGT Marcus and then Ben ( BMT friend). Ate Laksa. Went over to Prev Medicine store and also to Medlog to meet up with 2WO Chong and Ms Choo Phiak Har. Talked to them about the duced out AED pads but I forgot to ask 2WO Chong about the problems in our Medlog. Then, went to ADSD to collect a docket and to ARMC to collect some X rays. Then went back to CAB. Wow! Whole day gone just like that. Didnt even do any work.

Went back, did just abit of work and last parade. Woho! Went home... yay! and am typing this now.
Alight, enough for today... God bless!
