Another patient!!! This time at 0400 on 241105. I was sleeping and having such a nice and comfy sleep after the exercise, Daniel woke me up, shouting in the dispense Titus!!! Titus!! Got patient unconscious etc... When I went to the Resus room, the patient was already in the ambulance with a FDS reservist medic, and going with him was Jan and our new medic Leong Soon. They left soon after with driver Ma. Dr Kao called, gave instructions to keep the AED pads on the patient, set up a drip, take his blood sugar level and to take vital signs and report to sir. We got the wrong patient info at first and reported wrongly to BOC. Luckily we checked it and reported back to BOC.
I went to sleep.. i was too tired.. got up at 0745 for work. Found out that the patient had a damaged spinal cord.. damm! thats serious.. if proven fatal, he's gonna be bedridden or in wheelchair.. poor guy.!!! Why did this happen? He was moving sandbags the whole night. and that puts strain on the spinal cord. Tonight is Yeo and me, i hope it doesnt happen again
