Just got back from work, been at CMC since Monday 8am. This morning, the airfield opened at 0210, then tower called and had to wake up.. Damm! spoiled my dream. Was told to standby for the propeller plane which will be doing calibration on approach on East runway. But yeh, who cares, continued to sleep just like Roland did. 0500, received a call from tower than airfield had closed and will re-open at 0700. Continued sleeping, then at 0645, tower called senior med phone, becos mainline was not put down properly, was my fault. I thought Roland would wake up and pick it up, instead, kept on sleeping, gosh! i had to answer it. He claimed he woke already just in time for me to answer the call. Oh Wellz....
Breakfast was lor mai kai (quite nice, tho i thought it sux at first) [ for aussies whom dont know what it is, its rice with meat at the bottom] and soon kueh [some crap inside some skin] with sweet sauce. Then Jan, Nick and Teng came to East and Dr Kao as well. Then, Roland and me were about to go off when he asked me to go collect $$ from Dr Kao for mess fund, but then he was in the toilet, so couldnt do it. Ah, nvm.. despatch can collect it later. Drove back to West, at west was Dr Tan, Lynn, Chai, Derrick, Avjeet, Roland, Yeo, Joel, How, Wei Pang and myself. Got my Influenza jab from Wei Pang and I jabbed him too.. since it was compulsory for all medical staff to get it done. Didnt do much today. Bludge and slacked.. then Roland and Lynn had to go collect the Isaac cards from Choo and Daniel because those men were coming to fix our comps up after the janus migration. So, drove to Choo's house and picked up the card and then picked Daniel up from pasir ris, he bought for us pizza and drinks and dr tan had mcdonalds. To my surprise, the pizza was soo expensive, compared to Sydney where its $5.99 unlimited... that pizza cost us $17, so each of us had to chip in around $3.50. gosh!! rip off! SFI lunch was pandan rice with curry cabbage, chilli egg, fried fish and fried chicken. we had to eat it because the pizza was not enough for all of us glutons.
Yeah, after having a joking session with Daniel in the pantry, he left with the GP car with Avjeet and Chai, with Wei Pang driving it to go to base. Then after they came back, Roland went to Jab avjeet, poor Avjeet, with his phobia of needles and in front of lynn, wei pang, how, and all the Pest control guys whom were there to remove a bee hive. Fortunately for him, it wasnt pain at all.. mann! dont worry avjeet next time!! needles are nothing...
Realised that 1 tube of Conazole cream was missing but solved it in the end, no prob at all. Then talk talk talk, then others were busy with the Janus migration, so we ended up working late and then was CAT 1 and raining as well, so went home late. Then, went to Changi V with Yeo, he bought chicken rice home since he thought his mum wasnt cooking. Took 29 home, had a chat about life in Australia, guess it was kool. His mum called him said he had dinner, so oh wellz, had extra chicken for dinner. He was off to teach something at school, so he had to rush home and go for it. Got home, changed, ate, and then am typing this.. for those whom have finished their hsc like lien, congrates! you've done well, for those still going, all the best and god bless! take care..
