My holiday is coming to an end and so is my freedom to do whatever I want. The scenario of a medic's life flashes back in my head as I prepare to pack up and go back to where no one wants to be at, for me, the medical centre.
Today went shopping in the morning, got some lollies to bring back to Singapore and ' Tom Yum Koong'. The lady at the shop asked whether I could cook Thai dishes, and I was like, no mann! I cant cook anything.. haha... Went home, bumped around a little bit and then met up Veasna for lunch. Drove to Canley Heights post office to pay Dalen a visit. She has changed a lil. She was working so we didnt really had much time to talk, just said a quick hi and thats it. Wished her all the best for the thing she's been waiting for arriving in December.
Then we drove to a Fairfield Thai restaurant, it was the exact same one which Cam and Peter Paterson took me 1 year ago to eat. It was pretty alright and we had lots of food. We had rice, Larb-medium cooked, tom yum soup, ox tongue and iced tea. Veasna couldnt eat alot so I had to eat most of it. haha.. as always. Total cost $35, quite alright for the amount we get. Then after lunch, we drove back to Cabra and was thinking of calling Helen Tan to see what she is up to, or whether she wants to come with us to Livo. Fortunately, Helen was planning to go livo to help collect an assignment to be handed in at TAFE and so we gave her a ride there. Parked at Westfields, the most boring place ever!! Went for a walk, got some cooking oats for Singapore from Coles and i remembered Yui was at the movies with her friends so gave her a call to see where she was. Went to Myers to look for a Christmas present for Veasna's sister, but you know how hard it is to choose Christmas presents, so just walked around and thats about it.
we were driving back to Cabra and then we decided to go back to school. When we got there, Veasna didnt wanna go into school, which means she has to wait in the car for me, which is really slack to her, especially when she drove me there. So, ended up going home. No plans for tonight, just stay home and bum around. cyas!!!
