Back from public holiday, no body felt like working. Even Dr Tan, didnt feel like working. Lynn was on off today, Choo, Daniel and Joel on leave. Jan's physio got cancelled, so he ended up staying at East together with Nic and Zhang. At West was Dr Tan, Wei Pang, Roland, Avjeet, Long, Derrick, Yeo, Teng, How and myself. Duty driver Willie, BDO driver Dian Xiang. Brought some chocolate from Sydney for West, hope they enjoyed it, those whom were not there missed out... too bad.. No MOPA today so I had to help Dr Tan when he needed someone. PACES died this morning, so ended up using downtime for that Encik and 1 LCP. Luckily, came bk on time so that we could finish off the remaining reporting sick patients. Luckily, Dr Tan didnt feel like keeping that diarrhoea patient in the sick bay and gave him attn c instead. Acknowledged and CIVed the drugs for the East, but made too many mistakes, but managed to finish it in the end.
Nothing much after then, had lunch, was hokkien mee with prawn and that dessert thing, and bananas. Then, they came to repair the docu room door, which made it pretty inconvenient for us to go in and out and also because of the smell of the lacquer, which irritated everyone's nose, especially How's.
Sat in dispense, had a chat with how and avjeet about travelling and his upcoming trip to the U.S. Im so jealous.. haha... i wanna go too, revisit what I did when i was a kid. Then, a patient who had an operation for a cyst asked whether we could disinfect his wound, so How and me did it. Was pretty bad.. big hole on his thigh after the operation. Just took cotton balls and centrimide to disinfect it, then used Jelonet and then melolin and transpore tape to tape it up. Gave him some stores so that he could do it himself. After that, went bk to dispense to replace the expired melolin in the aircraft emergency pouch so that it could be returned to STL. After that, the door was fixed and then we started moving the old comps into the ops room secret room. soo stuffy and crammed in there. After that, last parade, but because those guys wanted to play soccer, so they took their own sweet time. Sorry I couldnt play soccer today, tho i would wanted to so that i can reduce fat. Had an appointment.
Went home, just when i got onto the bus, a newbie motocyclist hit the back of my bus and wasted my time, luckily he wasnt hurt or unconscious or else me being a paramedic, had to spring into action.. do u think I would do it if it really happened? I'll prob be calling bk medical centre to ask for help. Got home, changed, chucked my stuff and then waited with Jeff for late michelle. Bought starbucks, had an 1 hr chat, caught up with each other. Gosh those drinks are really expensive. Said bye... went to have dinner with jeff at Century square, he had duck rice , i had seafood rice noodle.. then went to play for abt 2 hrs of pool. I did better this time, at least I didnt loose face by allowing him to win so many games. haha... cost us abt $19. Went home, showered, talked to Thong for a while and am writing this now..
Called East, lucky west no flight so Roland and me dont have to work.. phew! I can sleep in tomorow morning then.. haha.. kool.. catcha laters cya take care!
