I'm gonna be promoted soon. There has been a mutual agreement for me to take over Changi East Medical Centre as an overall i/c. Come March/April when my seniors ORD, they will be handing over the entire East medical centre to myself, whom will oversee all departments and also responsible to train up the new medics for managerial positions of Changi East Medical Centre.
Meanwhile, I will be training at the East from this week onwards for that position. Dr Kao and myself will be working hand and hand with each other, ensuring top class standards are maintained and bring pride to the SAF.
I think this will be an opportunity for myself to pick up different skills. It wont be an easy road, but Im prepared to give my best. I should make use of this to help me in my Bac of Nursing course after I ORD.
The worrying thing is the upcoming IQA (Internal Quality Audit) and the Annual Medical Profieciency Test. For the IQA, Im gonna be resposible for all the departments at the East and answer for any faults.
Hopefully things will turn out well and good...
